The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) relies on a dedicated community of experts, whose contribution is fundamental to our collective success. To simplify, modernise and centralise procedures for experts’ mandatory declaration of interests (DOI) and confidentiality undertaking, the EDQM has created an online Declaration of Interests for Experts platform – DOIX for short.

From now on , only one DOI will be required for all activities with the EDQM, streamlining the process and ensuring transparency across experts’ different commitments. The whole process will take place online, replacing the paper form, and has been designed in conformity with the Council of Europe Regulations on the Protection of Personal Data.

We take this opportunity to thank our experts for their commitment to helping the EDQM realise its vision of better health for all and kindly remind them to keep their DOI up to date. New year? New DOI, please. Has your situation changed, affecting your personal or professional interests? Please update your DOI accordingly.

All current DOIs remain valid until either their annual expiry date or their replacement by a new DOI. Full information on the new procedure will be sent to our experts before the end of the 2025.
