The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) is a leading organisation whose mission is to contribute to public health protection by promoting access to safe medicines and healthcare through the elaboration of quality standards, which are recognised as a scientific benchmark worldwide.

The EDQM is looking to fill four paid positions for this summer, with priority given to students on science courses:
Duration: 01/07/2025 - 31/08/2025
Contract type: full-time contracts at Strasbourg - Kastner (France)
Hours: day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 11:15 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. from Monday to Friday, alternating between morning shifts one week and afternoon shifts the next week
Primary duties:
- preparing orders for internal and external customers;
- preparing packages (room temperature, ice or dry ice) in accordance with instructions on preparation slips and freight procedures concerning chemical and/or pharmaceutical products (delivery slips, pro forma invoicing, etc.);
- assisting with taking inventories of reference standards stored in the on-site cold rooms;
- handling several heavy packages (10-25 kg) per day;
- ensuring that the work environment remains clean, tidy and safe.
Important information: this work requires handling heavy pallets and packages in high places and involves spending several hours per day in the cold storage rooms while wearing protective clothing (provided by the EDQM).
