The supply of blood components involves a series of complex processes composed of numerous steps, each carrying intrinsic and extrinsic risks. Blood establishments must continuously adapt to new regulatory and technical requirements in quality management as part of their risk avoidance strategy. In this evolving context, quality risk management can play a pivotal role in meeting these requirements.
Within the framework of its Grant Agreement with the European Commission, the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), Council of Europe, is organising a FREE training course on Quality Risk Management (QRM) in the field of blood.
This free training course, the 4th European Training Course on Quality Management for Blood Establishments, will support blood establishments in implementing and further developing a robust, risk-based QMS. It will be delivered in five modules over five weeks beginning 2 November 2021, with live online sessions on 29 and 30 November.
