The European Pharmacopoeia Commission (EPC) held its 181st session on 25 and 26 March 2025. A summary of its outcome is available in the infographic below. Highlights will be published shortly on our website and the full list of adopted texts will be made available on the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) work programme web page in the coming weeks.

The 182nd session of the EPC will take place in hybrid format on 17 and 18 June 2025.

Major achievements: The EPC agreed to revise the general chapter on Bacterial endotoxins (2.6.14) to include the test using recombinant factor C as the seventh method for conducting BET. This proposed revision has already been published in Pharmeuropa 37.2 (April 2025).
