Strategic Projects Portfolio Officer
Grade: B4/B5 according to experience Salary: €4819 (B4) / €5598 (B5) - Gross, monthly

The EDQM’s Management support Division is seeking a project officer who has experience in coordinating a broad set of programmes and projects, ensuring progress and alignment with organisational goals. This role is for a maximum period of 12 months. Join our team and make a direct impact on our mission!
The role will focus on:
- Developing and implementing standard processes, tools, and methodologies for effective programme and project management.
- Assisting the EDQM management team in structuring and steering a comprehensive portfolio of strategic programmes and projects.
- Tracking the progress of strategic programmes and projects and prepare regular reports on the portfolio status for the EDQM Management team.
- Collaborating closely with programme and project managers and other stakeholders, including:
- Clarifying needs and expectations, ensuring a shared understanding of goals and outcomes.
- Highlighting and monitoring dependencies between projects and help prioritise, to maximize impact and optimise resource management.
- Supporting the initiation, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and closing of strategic programmes and projects.

We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Hold a higher education degree or qualification in, strategy, business, management, or another relevant subject;
- Proven professional experience in managing a diverse project portfolio, ensuring projects align with organisational strategic goals.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively both in person and virtually.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Very good knowledge of one of the two official languages of the Council of Europe (English), in both oral and written communication, and knowledge of the other (French).
