The EDQM has updated its policy for the elaboration of documents related to the Certification of Suitability (CEP) procedure.  Detailed information on the types of documents and the different steps in the elaboration process can be found here.

The elaboration process for CEP documents is placed under the responsibility of the CEP Steering Committee (SC).

A major change compared to the current practice is the introduction of a consultation phase (public or targeted) with stakeholders for certain documents in order to ensure transparency of the process, to inform them of upcoming proposed/potential changes and to give them the opportunity to provide input or comments.

The documents for public consultation and the instructions for the stakeholders will be available in a dedicated space on the EDQM website. 

When there is a document for public consultation, an announcement will be made on EDQM Certification webpages and this document will be accessible from the dedicated space.
