CombiStats is getting an upgrade. The new version of this powerful statistical analysis tool for data from biological dilution assays or potency assays, maintained by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), will be launched as a web application on 4 July 2024.
Extensive work has been done to improve various features of the tool, including:
- a modernised and dynamic web-based version replacing the desktop application;
- a new licensing system in which each user has their own account and password to access the application;
- the implementation of a workspace that allows you to better manage and monitor your CombiStats sheets, keep track of them (audit trail) and share them securely with your colleagues.
Users are invited to start using the CombiStats web application as soon as it is available to familiarise themselves with the new interface and features. To ensure a smooth transition to the new system, the current desktop version of CombiStats will be available until 31 March 2025.
Persons managing CombiStats licences will receive an e-mail in the first week of July with the licence key to activate their workspaces, with the same number of seats (users) as for the desktop version.
A webinar presenting the new version is being organised for 3 July 2024 to provide an overview of the web application and how to access it. Please note that this webinar will not cover the use of CombiStats to perform statistical analyses.
To register to the webinar, please use the following link: “Introduction to CombiStats web application”.
Users are invited to spread the news among their fellow CombiStats users in their organisations!
