The European Pharmacopoeia Commission approved the addition of a new monograph on Pyridoxine, oral liquid to the European Paediatric Formulary work programme at its session in November 2024. The complete work programme is available here .
Interested parties may contact the Secretariat to propose further additions to the work programme, or to take part in the elaboration of monographs already on the work programme.
The involved committees and the experts in the PaedF Working Party aim to make as many monographs as possible available with age-appropriate formulations which can be prepared in pharmacies in case of absence of alternative licensed medicinal products. With 9 published monographs and 17 further in the pipeline on its work programme it is hoped to build an even more helpful tool for pharmacists and clinicians in Europe and beyond.
