The technical guideline, which was adopted at the Annual Meeting of the GEON in May 2010 in Split, Croatia, provides guidance on all major elements with respect to the contribution of individual OMCLs and the OMCL Network in monitoring stockpiled medicines, including aspects such as obtaining and evaluating relevant information, storage of products, sampling, testing and reporting activities, support in decision-making and transparency of results.
